The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) offers a variety of benefits for both members who sign in and those who register as new members. becoming a member of the American Society for Microbiology provides access to educational resources, networking opportunities, career services, professional development, and more, making it a valuable investment for anyone in the microbiology field. 

Registration

    • Open your browser and type the following URL: https://asm.org/Membership

    • Once the page loads, scroll down and look for the “Join ASM” option. Click on it.

    • .If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create one. Click on “Create an Account.”

    • Enter Personal Information and click on “Continue”

Sign In

  • Click on Login and Use your email address and password to sign in.

Additional Notes:

ASM membership is not limited to microbiologists. Individuals from various
fields, including medical and other science-related areas, are welcome to join.

ASM has country and young ambassadors who can help connect members across different regions, including  Nigeria, where there are active efforts to expand ASM membership within universities and institutions.
